AFCON 2015 – GUINEA FACES CAMEROON IN A DECISIVE GROUP D CLASH
Guinea’s Syli National are preparing for a crucial encounter against Cameroon in their second Group D match at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations. After a strong opening performance that saw them draw 1-1 with tournament favorites Ivory Coast, Michel Dussuyer’s men now face another formidable challenge.
Coach Michel Dussuyer acknowledges the weight of the occasion, describing it as “a pressure match”:
“Since the World Cup, Cameroon has changed a bit, even if they still rely on experienced players like Stéphane M’bia and N’Koulou. These are players used to major competitions. They have quality individuals and quick attackers capable of making the difference.”
While praising Cameroon’s talent and speed, Dussuyer emphasized the need for constant vigilance:
“We will remain vigilant at all times because this team is always dangerous on the offensive side and can easily make the difference.”
Guinea hopes to build on the momentum from their performance against the Elephants and continue surprising observers in what has become a very open and unpredictable Group D.
