Gabon to Announce AFCON 2015 Squad on December 28
Gabon’s national team coach Jorge Costa has confirmed that the official list of players for the 2015 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) will be unveiled on December 28.
As part of their preparation for the tournament, the Panthers will hold a training camp in Morocco, where they are set to play their only pre-AFCON friendly against Senegal’s Lions of Teranga. After the training camp, the team will return to Libreville before traveling to Bata, which will serve as their base city during the tournament.

With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang expected to lead the charge, the Panthers aim to make a strong showing in the continental competition, which kicks off on January 17, 2015.
