Australia-Togo forward Adolph Koudakpo has joined Hong Kong Premier League club Kowloon City from Thailand’s Kanchanaburi FC on a free transfer.

The 27-year-old centre-forward completed the move on 14 August, switching leagues after spending the previous season with Kanchanaburi FC in Thai football. Kowloon City have secured Koudakpo without a transfer fee, with the Australian-Togolese player now beginning a new chapter in Hong Kong.

Koudakpo has experience of Thai League 2, where he has made 59 appearances and scored 15 goals, alongside two assists. His record in the competition includes 4,654 minutes and a goal every 310 minutes.

He has also played in Australia’s National Premier Leagues, recording 33 appearances, eight goals and three assists in NPL Victoria. His previous Australian clubs include Green Gully SC and Blacktown City, while he also spent time with Hills United earlier in his career.

Koudakpo joined Kanchanaburi FC as a free agent from Police Tero FC in July 2025. He subsequently had loan spells with Chainat FC and Sisaket United during the 2025-26 season, returning to Kanchanaburi before making his move to Kowloon City.

The forward’s route to Hong Kong has therefore included football in both Australia and Thailand. In addition to his Thai League 2 record, he has scored once in three Thai Cup appearances. He has also featured in the Thai FA Cup.

Koudakpo is listed at 1.84 metres tall and favours his right foot. His arrival gives Kowloon City a centre-forward with experience across domestic competitions in Australia and Thailand, and adds a new attacking option to the club’s squad for the Hong Kong Premier League.

The transfer follows a short period at Kanchanaburi, where Koudakpo’s playing rights had returned after the expiry of his loan spell with Sisaket United. He now leaves Thai football after a series of moves involving free transfers and temporary deals since beginning his senior career in Australia.

Koudakpo’s market value is recorded at €200,000, but Kowloon City have completed his signing without paying a fee to Kanchanaburi FC. The transfer was completed on 14 August 2026.
