Adil Benchagra joins Ben Guerir on free transfer
French-Moroccan centre-forward Adil Benchagra has joined Moroccan club Ben Guerir on a free transfer, completing the move on 15 September 2026.
Benchagra, 25, arrives after a career spent across clubs in France and Switzerland. The Pontarlier-born striker has previously played for FC Le Locle, LCS Le Locle, Morteau and Chaux-de-Fonds, with each of those moves completed without a transfer fee.
He began his recorded senior career with FC Le Locle in July 2020 before moving to Chaux-de-Fonds a year later. Benchagra joined Morteau in July 2021, returned to FC Le Locle in July 2023 and later switched to LCS Le Locle in January 2025. He returned to FC Le Locle shortly afterwards and left the club in February 2026.
The 1.80m forward has experience in French and Swiss competitions. His recorded appearances include 12 matches in National 3, five in the 1. Liga, one in the Swiss Cup and one in the Swiss Cup qualifiers. He also featured in the Coupe de France during his career.
Benchagra holds French and Moroccan nationality and will now continue his career with Ben Guerir. The move takes him to Morocco after his previous experience in the lower divisions of France and Switzerland.
His arrival gives Ben Guerir a centre-forward with a playing background that includes clubs from both countries represented in his nationality. He joins the Moroccan side on a free transfer, with no contract expiry date provided.
Benchagra’s move to Ben Guerir was completed on 15 September 2026.
