Adel Amrouche, an Algerian coach, has been officially appointed by the Kenyan Football Federation (FKF) to replace the Frenchman Henri Michel, who resigned a few weeks ago due to conflicts with the federation. Amrouche’s task is to qualify Kenya for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) and elevate the level of football in the country. He expressed his excitement about working with Kenyan players and looks forward to the challenge. Amrouche’s first test will be in March during the 2014 World Cup qualifiers against the reigning African champions, Nigeria.
