Adama Traore emerges as Deportivo La Coruna transfer target

Adama Traore, the Spanish-Malian winger currently without a club, has been linked with a move to Deportivo La Coruna.

The 30-year-old right winger left West Ham on 1 July, just six months after joining the club from Fulham for €2.3m. West Ham were relegated from the Premier League last season, while Traore’s next destination remains undecided.

Deportivo are preparing for their return to Spain’s top flight and have been identified as the club linked with a possible move for Traore. The rumour was recorded on 5 August, although there is no indication that an agreement has been reached or that negotiations are advanced.

Traore has extensive Premier League experience, making 271 appearances in the competition and recording 14 goals and 27 assists. He has also played in Spain for Barcelona and began his senior career with the club’s reserve side after progressing through their academy.

His career includes a Copa del Rey triumph with Barcelona in 2015 and a UEFA Youth League title the previous season. Traore’s listed market value is €6m, but he is currently unattached following his departure from West Ham and has no current club contract.
