Achraf Hakimi, the Paris Saint-Germain right-back, has shared his thoughts on the departure of his close friend and teammate, Kylian Mbappé, from the French capital club.
Speaking at the UNFP Trophies ceremony in Paris on Monday, May 13, Achraf Hakimi addressed Mbappé’s impending exit from Paris Saint-Germain during an interview with Prime Video.
“Everyone knew he was going to leave, I wish him the best for the future. We are in Paris and we must think of the best for Paris,” Hakimi remarked.
The Moroccan international, who played a key role in the Moroccan national team’s journey to the final of the 2022 World Cup, was honored as the best player in Ligue 1 for the fifth consecutive time at the UNFP Trophies ceremony.
