Olympique Marseille goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli has hailed Achraf Hakimi, Paris Saint-Germain’s dynamic right-back, as a pivotal figure in the club’s success.
Speaking on Téléfoot, Rulli admired Hakimi’s dual impact on both ends of the pitch.
“For me, the player who stands out is at PSG and his name is Achraf Hakimi,” Rulli stated, emphasizing the Moroccan star’s exceptional abilities.
“He’s a fundamental player for them,” Rulli added. “He brings as much in defense as in attack, he’s so important. Well, I hope he misses his next matches.”
Hakimi’s ability to dominate defensively while contributing offensively has made him a standout in Ligue 1, even drawing acknowledgment from rivals. Rulli’s candid comments underscore Hakimi’s influence as one of PSG’s indispensable assets, further solidifying his reputation among Europe’s elite players.
Hakimi has made 14 appearances, scored five goals, and assisted two in Ligue 1 this season. The Moroccan defender will be involved in PSG’s Ligue 1 game against Saint Etienne.
