Achraf Hakimi remains committed to PSG despite ongoing transfer speculation

Achraf Hakimi is not planning to leave Paris Saint-Germain, according to his agent, who has moved to address speculation surrounding the defender’s future.

The Moroccan international has been linked with a possible departure in recent weeks, prompting questions over his long-term position at the French club.

However, his representative, Alejandro Camano, has provided clarity on the situation.

Speaking to Winwin, Camano dismissed the idea of an imminent exit, stating that the player remains fully focused on his current team.

He emphasised that Hakimi’s ambitions are aligned with those of Paris Saint-Germain, particularly in their pursuit of success in European competition.

Hakimi is understood to be motivated by the goal of winning the Champions League and helping the club progress as far as possible in the tournament.

This objective continues to shape his commitment, despite the rumours linking him with a move elsewhere.

Since joining PSG, the full-back has experienced a productive period, contributing to the club’s success in domestic competitions.

Hakimi signed for Paris Saint-Germain on 6 July 2021, agreeing to a five-year contract with the club.
