Achraf Hakimi remains committed to PSG despite ongoing transfer speculation
Achraf Hakimi is not planning to leave Paris Saint-Germain, according to his agent, who has moved to address speculation surrounding the defender’s future.
The Moroccan international has been linked with a possible departure in recent weeks, prompting questions over his long-term position at the French club.
However, his representative, Alejandro Camano, has provided clarity on the situation.
Speaking to Winwin, Camano dismissed the idea of an imminent exit, stating that the player remains fully focused on his current team.
He emphasised that Hakimi’s ambitions are aligned with those of Paris Saint-Germain, particularly in their pursuit of success in European competition.
Hakimi is understood to be motivated by the goal of winning the Champions League and helping the club progress as far as possible in the tournament.
This objective continues to shape his commitment, despite the rumours linking him with a move elsewhere.
Since joining PSG, the full-back has experienced a productive period, contributing to the club’s success in domestic competitions.
His performances have reinforced his role within the squad, while also attracting attention beyond France.
Hakimi signed for Paris Saint-Germain on 6 July 2021, agreeing to a five-year contract with the club.
At the time of the transfer, reports indicated that the deal was valued at 60 million euros, with a further 11 million euros in potential add-ons.
The defender’s current situation reflects a balance between external interest and internal stability.
While speculation continues to circulate, the position outlined by his agent suggests that no immediate change is being considered.
For now, Hakimi’s focus remains firmly on his role at PSG, with the club’s European ambitions providing a clear direction for the seasons ahead
