Morocco defender Achraf Dari is being linked with a move from Egyptian giants Ahly SC to Swiss Super League side FC Lugano, according to transfer data compiled on 2 February 2026.

The 26-year-old centre-back, currently valued at €1.20m, is the subject of speculation over a possible switch from the Egyptian Premier League to Switzerland’s top flight. The reported probability of the move remains unclear, with the listing marked only as “?”. With no contract expiry date publicly available for his deal at Ahly, the data also leaves open the possibility that he could become a free agent if no agreement is reached.

Dari only joined Al Ahly from Stade Brestois 29 in August 2024, having previously spent time on loan at Belgian club Royal Charleroi SC earlier that year. His market value has been on a downward curve since peaking at €2.50m during his early period at Brest in 2022, slipping back to €1.20m in December 2025, which could make him a relatively affordable option for Lugano as they look to bolster their defensive options.

Born in Casablanca on 6 May 1999, the 1.88m right-footed centre-back came through the ranks at Wydad Casablanca, progressing from their U19s to the reserves and then the first team before moving to Europe in 2022. He has since experienced top-flight football in France, Belgium and Egypt, adding continental pedigree to his profile.

The latest rumour does not include transfer fee figures or contract details, underlining that talks, if any, are still at a preliminary stage. However, a move to the Swiss Super League would represent another step in a career that has already spanned North Africa and Western Europe, and could offer Dari a fresh platform to rebuild his value and reassert his reputation in European football if it goes through.
