AC Tripoli sign Ivory Coast centre-back Gnabre Yves Constant Legre from Al-Mabarra

Ivory Coast centre-back Gnabre Yves Constant Legre has joined AC Tripoli from Al-Mabarra, strengthening the Lebanese Premier League club’s defensive options.

The 28-year-old defender completed the move on 20 September 2026 after spending the previous season with Al-Mabarra. Legre is a left-footed central defender who stands 1.87m tall and will continue his career in Lebanon’s top flight.

Legre made 15 appearances in the Lebanese Premier League during the last campaign, playing 1,273 minutes. His arrival gives AC Tripoli a player with recent experience of the competition and adds further depth at centre-back.

Before moving to AC Tripoli, Legre joined Al-Mabarra from Ivory Coast side ASI Abengourou in September 2025 on a free transfer. He had previously spent two seasons with ASI Abengourou after leaving Oman-based club Majees SC in July 2023.

His career has also included spells with CM Dakhla, Phosboucraa, FC Mouna and SC Gagnoa. Legre first joined SC Gagnoa in 2013, beginning a run of club moves that took him through teams in Ivory Coast, Morocco and Oman before his return to Ivorian football.

The defender’s move to AC Tripoli represents another step in a career that has crossed several leagues and brought him back to the Lebanese Premier League. He now joins a club competing in the same competition in which he featured regularly during the previous season.

AC Tripoli have registered Legre as their latest defensive addition, with the Ivory Coast international set to wear the club’s colours after leaving Al-Mabarra. The transfer was completed on 20 September 2026.
