French and DR Congo midfielder Warren Bondo is being linked with a move from AC Milan to Ligue 1 club Stade Rennais.

Bondo, 22, is currently an AC Milan player after returning from a season-long loan at Cremonese at the end of June. The central midfielder joined Cremonese on loan in August 2025, with the deal including a €500,000 loan fee.

He moved to Milan from Monza in February 2025 for €10.5m and remains under contract with the Serie A club until 30 June 2029. His current market value is listed at €6m.

A move to Stade Rennais would represent a return to France for Bondo, who began his senior career with AS Nancy before moving to Italy. He made 80 Serie A appearances during his time in the division, scoring once and providing one assist.

Bondo’s career has also included a loan spell at Reggina during the 2022-23 season before he established himself in Italian football with Monza. His return to AC Milan has now been followed by reported interest from Rennes, although the transfer remains a rumour and no agreement has been confirmed.

The midfielder’s long-term Milan contract means any permanent move would require the clubs to reach an agreement before the transfer can proceed.
