Just two days ago, AC Milan President Silvio Berlusconi expressed his support for Clarence Seedorf, stating that the coach was not under scrutiny and would remain in his position, even for the next season, as reported by the Italian press agency Ansa.
However, today, there has been a change in stance from the Lombard president. According to Gazette dello Sport, Berlusconi has issued an ultimatum to Seedorf following the team’s recent poor performances. If AC Milan fails to secure victories against Lazio and Fiorentina, Seedorf will be relieved of his duties and replaced by Mauro Tassotti, the club’s first manager.
Clarence Seedorf took over as coach of AC Milan after succeeding Massimiliano Allegri, who was dismissed from his position. Seedorf arrived from Botafogo, aiming to revitalize the team’s performance.
