Italian giants AC Milan have rejected a bid from Bologna seeking to sign Swiss forward of Nigerian descent Noah Okafor.
Okafor, who spent the last six months on loan at Napoli, struggled for minutes, making just four appearances totaling 36 minutes. While earlier reports suggested the 24-year-old might be offloaded this summer, Milan appear to be reconsidering their stance.
According to journalist Daniele Longo, Bologna submitted a loan offer with an option to buy, mirroring previous bids from Beşiktaş and Flamengo.
However, Milan have rejected all such proposals, instead placing a €15–20 million price tag on the striker.
Okafor’s recent form has reignited interest within the Rossoneri camp. He netted twice in a commanding 9–0 friendly win over Perth Glory and added another goal in a 4–2 victory against Liverpool. His performances have reportedly impressed incoming manager Massimiliano Allegri, whose counterattacking style seems better suited to Okafor’s strengths.
Originally signed from RB Salzburg for €15.5 million in 2023, Okafor struggled to find his rhythm under previous coaches.
He continues to be a subject of transfer speculations heading into the 2025/26 football season.
