Italian giants, AC Milan, have turned down an offer from Aston Villa to sign England defender Fikayo Tomori on loan.

The Premier League side reportedly approached Milan with a proposal of €3 million for an initial loan deal, including a €27 million buy option, contingent on Villa securing Champions League qualification next season.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have rejected the bid, though discussions surrounding Tomori’s future could develop in the coming hours.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be monitoring the defender’s situation, adding further intrigue to the potential transfer.

Checks have revealed that it is now unlikely for Tomori to leave AC Milan in the January transfer window.
