Rami is optimistic about the collaboration with the former Dutch player, expressing confidence that things will work out well. According to him, “He knows how Italian football works, and that will help us enormously.”
Reflecting on his debut with the team under Silvio Berlusconi, Rami expressed satisfaction, at least for the moment. “To reach my usual level of play, I’ll need to play a lot more. I had both good and not-so-good moments (against Spezia, editor’s note), but playing alongside Philippe Mexès is easy for me. I know him very well from my time with the French team. We need more matches and hard work.”
The question remains whether Rami will be in the starting lineup next Sunday against Hellas Verona during the 20th round of the championship.
