AC Milan link raises questions over Noussair Mazraoui’s Manchester United future

Morocco international Noussair Mazraoui has been linked with a move from Manchester United to AC Milan, with the right-back potentially heading to Serie A before the transfer window closes.

The 28-year-old remains contracted to United until 30 June 2028 and has a current market value of €18m. The rumour would see him leave the Premier League for Italy after two seasons at Old Trafford.

Mazraoui joined United from Bayern Munich on 13 August 2024 in a deal worth €15m. He had moved to Bayern from Ajax on a free transfer in 2022 after establishing himself in the Netherlands, where he won three league titles and two Dutch Cups with Ajax.

He has made one Premier League appearance so far in the 2026-27 season, starting United’s only match and playing 89% of the available minutes. Mazraoui also featured in all six of Morocco’s possible World Cup 2026 matches, starting five.

His recent honours include helping Morocco win the Africa Cup of Nations in 2025, while he was part of Bayern’s Bundesliga and German Super Cup-winning team in 2022-23.

Mazraoui’s possible move to AC Milan remains a rumour, and there is no indication in the available information that an agreement has been reached. He currently remains a Manchester United player with two years left on his contract beyond the current season.
