AC Milan’s vice-president, Adriano Galliani, has announced his resignation amid strained relations with Barbara Berlusconi, the daughter of Silvio Berlusconi. Galliani, who has been a key figure at AC Milan, declared that he would resign in a few days, possibly after the Champions League match against Ajax Amsterdam on December 11. Barbara Berlusconi had expressed dissatisfaction with Galliani’s performance over the past two years. This surprising move comes amid a period of crisis for AC Milan, currently sitting 13th in the league, twenty points behind the leaders, Juventus Turin. Galliani cited damage to his reputation as a reason for his resignation.
