There appears to be a reversal of decisions in the ongoing conflict between Adriano Galliani, the historic managing director of AC Milan, and Barbara Berlusconi, the vice-president. Galliani had initially announced his resignation on Friday, stating, “With or without compensation, I will resign in a few days, probably after the Milan-Ajax Amsterdam match on December 11.”
However, on Saturday, Silvio Berlusconi, the president of AC Milan, contradicted Galliani’s announcement. After a meeting with Galliani on Friday evening, Berlusconi stated, “Serenity has returned to AC Milan. Adriano Galliani will stay in his position,” as reported by the ANSA agency.
This decision is in contrast to the desires of Barbara Berlusconi, who reportedly no longer wants Galliani in the club. AC Milan’s current performance in the league, currently positioned 13th after thirteen matches, with a significant point gap from the leaders Juventus Turin, adds to the complexity of the situation. The conflicting statements from key figures within the club highlight the internal tensions and uncertainties surrounding AC Milan’s leadership.
