URA FC attacking midfielder Abraham Tusubira is being linked with a move to Uganda Premier League rivals Entebbe UPPC.
The 31-year-old, who operates primarily as an attacking midfielder, is currently on the books of URA FC and is valued at around €50,000 on Transfermarkt, with the speculation emerging on 8 March 2026. The reported probability of the deal remains unclear, with the move listed as “?” in the latest update.
Tusubira, capped at club level with URA FC (Uganda Revenue Authority FC), only returned to the tax collectors permanently from Maroons FC on 10 September 2025, following an earlier loan spell with URA in the 2024-25 campaign. That initial switch from Maroons to URA in September 2024 was recorded as a loan transfer, before he went back to Maroons at the end of that season and then re-joined URA on a standard deal.
Born on 19 November 1994 and now 31, the Ugandan midfielder has spent his senior career within the Uganda Premier League, featuring for Maroons FC and URA FC. He currently wears the number 6 shirt at URA and is listed in the role of “Midfield – Attacking Midfield”, underlining his position as a creative option between the lines.
With no contract expiry date publicly recorded for his current deal at URA, it is not yet clear whether any prospective move to Entebbe UPPC would involve a transfer fee or whether Tusubira could eventually become a free agent should talks over his situation stall. His most recent market valuation, updated on 30 January 2026, places him at €50k, a figure that could make him an accessible option for Entebbe if they decide to formalise their interest.
If a deal does materialise, a switch to Entebbe UPPC would offer Tusubira a fresh chapter in the same division and a chance to reshape the latter stages of his career and reputation within Ugandan top-flight football.
