Abraham Guie Guie, the Ivorian striker from OGC Nice, has made a move from the French Riviera to Cyprus. He joined Apollon Limassol on a season-long loan with an option to buy. After playing the first leg of the Europa League play-off match against Apollon Limassol, it was announced that he would stay on the island.
The decision for Guie Guie to stay in Cyprus was made after OGC Nice’s defeat in the Europa League play-off first leg against Apollon Limassol. Following the 2-0 loss in Nicosia, Nice concluded the loan with the Cypriot club.
Abraham Guie Guie will not be able to participate in the return match scheduled for the following Thursday at Ray. It’s mentioned that he was no longer part of the plans of Nice coach Claude Puel, and he had a trial at Laval in Ligue 2 the previous week.
Additionally, it’s noted that he was able to pose for a photo with the Limassol supporters after the match. This move signifies a shift in Guie Guie’s football career from OGC Nice to Apollon Limassol.
