**Ghana’s Abraham Asiedu Attobrah signs for Belgian side FC Kortrijk**
Ghanaian defender Abraham Asiedu Attobrah is set to join Belgian top-flight club FC Kortrijk ahead of the new season. The 20-year-old full-back has left New Edubiase United to embark on his European adventure.
FC Kortrijk confirmed the signing on their official website, announcing that Attobrah has signed a three-year contract, with an option to extend for a further season.
Standing at 1.75m, Attobrah is versatile, capable of playing both as a full-back and in central defence. The Ghanaian is praised for his speed, agility, dribbling skills, and proficiency with both feet.
Attobrah featured prominently for Ghana’s U20 squad at the World Cup last summer. Additionally, he played in the 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN), where Ghana finished as runners-up after a penalty shootout defeat to Libya. Attobrah successfully converted his penalty in the final.
FC Kortrijk will be hoping that Attobrah’s youth and dynamism will bolster their defensive options in the upcoming season.
