Abha dismiss Damir Buric after difficult start to Saudi League season

Abha have dismissed Croatian manager Damir Buric, the Saudi club announced on Wednesday.

“The Abha board has decided to end its contractual relationship with Croatian coach Damir Buric,” the club said on its website.

“We extend our thanks and appreciation to him for the period he spent with the club.”

Buric guided Abha to the 2025-2026 Saudi First Division League title and helped secure their promotion to the Saudi League.

However, Abha are bottom of the Saudi League table after 10 matches, with two points.

Those points have come from two draws, while the club have lost eight games.

Abha’s next fixture is a meeting with Al-Ittihad on Friday.
