Abdulrahman Hamad, the Minister of Youth and Sports, affirmed his readiness to support the media sector on Thursday.
During a press conference at the opening of the National Forum for Sports Media under the theme “The Right to Information and Journalistic Responsibility,” Abdulrahman Hamad stated, “It is the duty of the Ministry of Youth and Sports to support both the media and sports sectors. Sports cannot progress without media coverage.
I have instructed the Director-General to establish a media field.”
Hamad further added, “The doors of the ministry remain open to journalists, and accuracy in information is essential.”
The National Forum for Sports Media commenced with the attendance of a significant number of prominent journalists in the sports field, along with several analysts in the domain.
