Abdullfatai Shuaib: Nigerian striker joins NK Celik on free transfer from OFK Gradina

Nigerian centre-forward Abdullfatai Shuaib has joined NK Celik on a free transfer from OFK Gradina, strengthening the Zenica clubs attacking options ahead of the new campaign.

The 22-year-old right-footed striker has signed after a short spell with Gradina, where he moved in January 2026, also as a free agent. His switch to Celik marks the latest step in a busy period of moves within Bosnian football for the Lagos-born forward.

Shuaib has already gained experience in the Bosnian system, featuring in league and cup competitions over the past two seasons. He made 28 appearances and scored once in Prva liga FBIH action, adding a single assist and recording 803 minutes of playing time in the competition, as well as one appearance in the national cup.

Before his time at OFK Gradina, Shuaib played for FK Rudar Kakanj following a free move from Jadran LP in March 2025. His spell at Rudar Kakanj included an earlier loan arrangement from Stupcanica in August 2024, which later became a permanent stint before another short move to Jadran LP.

The forwards move to Celik gives him continuity in Bosnia and Herzegovina after a sequence of free transfers that have kept him within the countrys football pyramid. Shuaib now becomes the latest addition to Celiks squad as he completes his transfer from OFK Gradina.
