Abdourahmane Barry: Guinea defender at Paris 13 Atletico linked with FC Versailles move
Abdourahmane Barry, the Guinea and France centre-back currently at Paris 13 Atletico, is being linked with a move to Ligue 3 rivals FC Versailles. The 26-year-old defender, who wears the number 4 shirt for the Parisian club, is attracting interest after a solid campaign in the French third tier.
Barry has featured regularly for Paris 13 Atletico this season, making 22 league appearances in Ligue 3. His performances have come as his market value has risen to around €200,000, with Versailles viewing him as a potential reinforcement at the heart of their defence ahead of the new campaign.
Born in Courbevoie and standing at 1.85m, Barry is a right-footed centre-back who joined Paris 13 Atletico from Amiens SC in July 2025 on a free transfer. His time in France’s lower divisions has followed spells in Germany and Austria, where he accumulated experience in the Bundesliga, 2. Bundesliga, 2. Liga and the Regionalliga Bayern, as well as cup outings in both France and Germany.
Barry has also played in Ligue 2 with Amiens, making 20 appearances and registering one assist at that level, adding to his profile as an option with experience across multiple European competitions. His current deal at Paris 13 Atletico does not have a publicly defined end date, leaving room for negotiation between the clubs as Versailles explore the possibility of bringing him in for their Ligue 3 campaign.
