Abdoulaye Fopalap: Cameroon teenager joins Miroslava from Esperance Guider in permanent transfer

Abdoulaye Fopalap has completed a move to Romanian side CS Stiinta Miroslava from Cameroonian club Esperance Guider in a permanent transfer dated 7 July 2026.

The 19-year-old defensive midfielder leaves his home country for Romania as he takes the next step in his career ahead of the 2026-27 season. The deal brings an end to his spell with Esperance Guider, where he developed before earning this first move into European football.

Fopalap, who was born on 18 September 2006 and holds Cameroonian nationality, is primarily deployed as a defensive midfielder. His profile strengthens the central options available to Miroslava, with the club adding a specialist in the holding role to their squad.

The transfer is recorded for the 2026-27 campaign, with the move officially logged on 7 July 2026. No fee has been disclosed for the deal. Contract duration and financial terms have not been made public.

Fopalap joins Miroslava at the age of 19, offering the Romanian side a young option at the base of midfield as they build for the new season.
