Abdoulaye Faty: Senegal winger leaves ASC Jaraaf after contract expiry

Senegalese winger Abdoulaye Faty has left ASC Jaraaf to become a free agent after his contract with the Dakar club expired. The 21-year-old right-sided attacker, who prefers to operate cutting in from the flank on his left foot, is now without a club following the end of his spell with the Senegalese champions.

Faty departs Jaraaf with a growing reputation in domestic and continental competition, having featured in Ligue 1 as well as the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup. Across those tournaments he clocked up more than 1,100 minutes of senior football, gaining experience against both local rivals and clubs from across Africa.

Born in Dakar on 10 October 2004 and standing at 1.73m, Faty joined ASC Jaraaf in November 2022 after a move from Mbour P.C. He went on to play his part in a successful period for the capital side, contributing to a Senegalese Cup triumph in the 2022-23 season and a league title in 2024-25.

His market value was most recently assessed at €75,000 in June 2026, reflecting his status as a young attacking option with top-flight and continental minutes already behind him. Operating primarily as a right winger, he adds width and direct running in the final third.

Faty’s departure from ASC Jaraaf was finalised on 28 July 2026, confirming his status as a free agent ahead of the new campaign.
