Abdoul Fatha Tinde Teribe switches Cyprus for Pyunik Yerevan

Burkina Faso centre-back Abdoul Fatha Tinde Teribe has joined Armenian club Pyunik Yerevan from AEL Limassol on a free transfer.

The 19-year-old defender completed the move on 3 September 2026, ending his brief spell with AEL and beginning a new chapter in Armenia’s Premier League. Teribe becomes a Pyunik player after moving between clubs twice during the 2025-26 and 2026-27 seasons.

Teribe joined AEL Limassol on 16 July 2026 after a period without a club. His time in Cyprus was short-lived, with the centre-back now moving on to Pyunik without a transfer fee.

Born in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, Teribe stands at 1.98m and plays predominantly as a right-footed central defender. His physical profile and specialist position place him among the defensive options available to Pyunik following his arrival.

Before joining AEL, Teribe had been part of the AIK under-19 set-up in Sweden. He moved to AIK U19 from Acad. Basga Jo in August 2025, before leaving the Swedish club in January 2026.

The transfer gives Teribe a chance to continue his senior-club career in Armenia after his recent moves through Sweden and Cyprus. Pyunik are his latest club following a sequence of changes in the early stages of his career.

His arrival comes at the start of the 2026-27 campaign. Teribe is registered as a defender for Pyunik, although he has yet to make a competitive appearance for the club.

The move also represents a change of footballing environment for the Burkina Faso player, who has gone from Cyprus League side AEL Limassol to an Armenian Premier League club. The transfer was completed as a free move, with no fee disclosed because the deal did not involve a transfer payment.

Teribe’s contract length at Pyunik has not been disclosed. His completed switch was recorded on 3 September 2026, confirming the 19-year-old as a new Pyunik Yerevan player.
