Abdou Salam Seye joins Valencia from Be Sport

Abdou Salam Seye has left Be Sport to join Spanish side Valencia, signing a contract that will keep the 18-year-old striker at the club until 2028, with the option of extending the agreement for a further two years.

Seye impressed Valencia during a trial several months ago, earning the opportunity to make the move to Spain after catching the club’s attention.

The Senegalese forward will initially link up with Valencia’s Juvenil A side, where he will continue his development while becoming accustomed to his new surroundings.

The move follows a productive campaign with Be Sport, where Seye established himself as one of the club’s important attacking players.

He finished the season as Be Sport’s second-highest scorer in the regional league, finding the net five times. Only Thierno Diop scored more, with seven goals to his name.

Seye’s contribution was not limited to his goals. He played 677 minutes over nine matches and also supplied two assists during the campaign.

Those performances helped underline his importance to the Red and Blacks and contributed to Valencia’s decision to bring him into their youth setup.

The Spanish club had already been able to assess Seye during his trial a few months ago, and his performances were enough to convince Valencia to pursue a permanent agreement with the young striker.

His contract initially runs until 2028 and includes an option that could keep him at Valencia for another two years.

Seye’s first task will be to settle into the Juvenil A team and continue working on his development. The move provides the 18-year-old with an opportunity to continue his progress in a new environment after an encouraging season with Be Sport.

For Valencia, the signing adds a young attacking player to their development structure, with Seye now set to begin the next stage of his career in Spain.

The Senegalese striker will now look to build on his performances with Be Sport as he adapts to life at his new club and works towards establishing himself within Valencia’s system.
