Abderrahmane Nehari: Algerian defender leaves CR Temouchent and becomes free agent
Algerian centre-back Abderrahmane Nehari has left CR Temouchent and is now a free agent after his contract with the club came to an end.
The 32-year-old defender, born in Arzew, departs the Ligue 1 side and is officially without a club following his latest move in the 2026 summer window. A right-footed centre-back standing at 1.80m, Nehari now enters the market available to sign for a new team.
Nehari joined CR Temouchent in July 2025 from RC Kouba on a free transfer, adding further top-flight experience to a career spent across several Algerian clubs. Before that spell, he had moved to RC Kouba in 2024 after a stint with MC Oran, one of the countrys most established sides.
Across his time in Ligue 1 and domestic cups, Nehari has accumulated more than 80 senior appearances, including 74 in the top division, contributing four goals and an assist from central defence. He has also featured in both the Coupe dAlgerie and the Coupe de la Ligue dAlgerie, underlining his consistent presence in domestic competitions.
Neharis career has taken him through a series of Oran-based teams, including OM Arzew, ASM Oran and SCM Oran, before his moves into the top tier with ASO Chlef, O Medea and later MC Oran. His experience and familiarity with Algerian football make him an established figure on the national scene.
The experienced Algerian defender now leaves CR Temouchent and is officially on the lookout for the next chapter of his career as a free agent.
