Abderrahmane Amri: Algerian goalkeeper rejoins US Biskra on free transfer

Algerian goalkeeper Abderrahmane Amri has rejoined US Biskra from NRB BO on a free transfer. The 29-year-old, who was born in Biskra, returns once again to his hometown club, where he has spent much of his senior career.

Amri moves back into a Ligue 1 environment after his latest spell away from the club with NRB BO. His switch follows a series of moves within Algerian football, but US Biskra has been the consistent reference point throughout his professional journey.

A product of the US Biskra youth system, Amri first stepped up from the club’s U21 side to the senior team in 2017. After an early spell away with CRBAF, he returned to Biskra and has since had multiple stints with the club, underlining the strong connection between player and team.

In recent seasons he has alternated between Biskra and other domestic sides, including MO Constantine and O Magrane, each time returning to his formative club. His latest comeback follows his departure from O Magrane and subsequent move to NRB BO before sealing this free transfer.

Now in his peak goalkeeping years, Amri will provide additional depth and experience between the posts as US Biskra prepare for the new Ligue 1 campaign. The deal sees him officially registered once more as a US Biskra player from 29 July 2026.
