Abderahmane Soussi: Morocco-Belgium striker joins Mornar Bar on free transfer

Morocco-Belgium forward Abderahmane Soussi has joined Montenegrin side Mornar Bar on a free transfer from UAE Pro League club Al-Dhafra FC. The 23-year-old centre-forward moves to the Meridianbet 1. CFL with an estimated market value of 125,000.

Soussi, who stands at 1.88m and plays primarily through the middle, leaves Al-Dhafra after a campaign in which he featured in both league and cup competitions. He scored once and provided one assist in 16 league appearances and added another goal in the UAE President’s Cup, underlining his ability to contribute across domestic fronts.

Born in Anderlecht and eligible for both Morocco and Belgium, Soussi has already built up experience in several countries despite his age. Before moving to the Gulf, he played in Moroccos Botola Pro with Raja Casablanca, having arrived there from Cypriot side Akritas Chlorakas. His early senior career also took in a spell with Young Reds after progressing through youth setups at RWDM U21 and Antwerp U21.

Soussi has tasted team success in Belgium, featuring in the Union Saint-Gilloise system during a campaign that brought a Belgian second-tier title. He now takes that background into a new challenge in Montenegros top flight, where Mornar Bar have added him to bolster their attacking options.

The deal, completed on 11 July 2026, sees Soussi join Mornar Bar on a permanent basis following the expiry of his contract with Al-Dhafra.
