Abdennour Chooses Valencia Over Chelsea
Having missed out on signing John Stones, Chelsea had turned to Aymen Abdennour as a top alternative. However, the Tunisian international is set to snub the Premier League in favor of La Liga.
According to L’Équipe and confirmed by RMC, Abdennour is currently in Spain to finalize his move to Valencia CF. A full agreement has been reached between AS Monaco and the Spanish club, with the transfer fee reportedly set at €25 million, excluding bonuses.
This move marks a significant reinforcement for Valencia’s defense, while Chelsea and José Mourinho must now explore other options before the transfer window closes.
