Abdelrahman Khalil: Egypt winger joins El Rebat & Anwar on free transfer

Egyptian right winger Abdelrahman Khalil has joined El Rebat & Anwar on a free transfer from Port Fouad SC. The 27-year-old has signed a contract running until 30 June 2028 with the Egyptian club.

Khalil makes the move after spending the last few seasons on the books of Port Fouad, where his time included a loan spell at Cascada in the 2025-26 campaign before returning at the end of that season. His switch to El Rebat & Anwar marks the latest step in a career spent entirely in Egyptian football.

Comfortable operating on the right flank in attack, Khalil brings experience from both league and cup competition. He featured in the Egypt Cup earlier in his career, recording 74 minutes of action in the competition, while also being involved in Premier League squads, even if game time there has been limited.

Before arriving at Port Fouad in 2022, Khalil played for El Hammam and Harras Hodoud, initially moving between the two clubs on loan before making his stay permanent. He also had a spell with Suez SC, having first emerged at ESCO FC in 2017.

Born on 25 September 1998, Khalil now enters what could be a prime phase of his career with a long-term deal at El Rebat & Anwar. The agreement, confirmed on 20 July 2026, ties the Egyptian winger to the club until the end of the 2027-28 season.
