Abdelmajid Djae: MVV Maastricht eye move for Dijon winger in Keuken Kampioen Divisie raid
Abdelmajid Djae, the ComorosFrench left winger currently at Dijon, is being linked with a move to Dutch second-tier side MVV Maastricht as the Keuken Kampioen Divisie club explore wide attacking options this summer.
The 21-year-old, who is valued at around 100,000, has emerged on MVVs radar after stepping up to senior football with Dijon following his progression from the clubs youth ranks. Born in Aubervilliers and capable of operating from the left while favouring his right foot, Djae has been used across Dijons attacking structure, including a spell away from the club in the 2025-26 season.
Djae spent part of last term on loan at FC Limonest, returning to Dijon at the end of the campaign. That temporary move came shortly after he had been promoted from Dijons U19 side in the summer of 2024, marking his first sustained period around senior squads following earlier years in LOSC Lilles youth system.
His exposure to competitive football across the French pyramid has included minutes in the third tier and in the Coupe de France, where he produced three goals and an assist in four appearances, underlining his impact in knockout fixtures. That contribution, combined with regular involvement at youth and lower-league level, is understood to have attracted interest from abroad.
Dijon, currently competing in Ligue 2, are yet to publicly indicate whether they would be prepared to sanction a permanent transfer or another loan for the winger, whose contract length has not been disclosed. For now, Djae remains on the books of the French club as discussions over his next step continue.
