Abdellah Ziani: Morocco winger joins Egypt’s El Masry from Difaa El Jadida
Moroccan winger Abdellah Ziani has joined Egyptian Premier League side El Masry from Difaa El Jadida in a completed move. The 23-year-old left-sided attacker, who plays primarily as a left winger, leaves Morocco’s Botola Pro Inwi to take up a new challenge in Port Said.
Ziani, born in Sale and standing at 1.67m, is a right-footed wide player whose game is based on operating from the left flank. His switch to El Masry was finalised on 27 July 2026, the same date his registration with the Egyptian club began.
The move marks Ziani’s first step outside Moroccan domestic football, where he had been on the books of Difaa El Jadida. His performances there helped establish him as a senior professional in his early twenties and earned him attention beyond the Botola Pro Inwi.
Ziani arrives at El Masry with a listed market value of €450,000 as of June 2026, underlining the level at which the Egyptian club have decided to invest in strengthening their attacking options on the wing. He is expected to operate in his usual advanced role on the left, cutting inside onto his stronger right foot.
With his transfer completed and registration confirmed, Ziani is now officially an El Masry player and available for selection for the Egyptian Premier League club.
