Algerian goalkeeper Abdelkader Morcely has joined CR Temouchent on a free transfer from USM Khenchela. The 30-year-old moves within Ligue 1, switching clubs on 9 July 2026 after his deal with Khenchela came to an end.

Standing at 1.97m and born in Ben Badis, Morcely arrives at Temouchent as an experienced option in goal. He is currently valued at 125,000 and becomes one of the clubs notable additions ahead of the new campaign as they reshape their squad.

Morcely spent the 2025-26 season with USM Khenchela, having signed for them in July 2025 from JS Saoura. That move followed a busy period in his career during which he featured for several top-flight Algerian sides, building a reputation as a reliable presence between the posts.

Before joining Khenchela, he had spells with JS Saoura and Paradou AC, moving to Paradou from MC El Bayadh in 2024. Earlier in his career, he gained Ligue 1 and second-tier experience with MC El Eulma, Chelghoum Laid, USM Bel Abbes, MC Algiers and O Medea, charting a steady rise through the domestic game.

Morcelys switch to CR Temouchent is a permanent free transfer and takes effect immediately ahead of the 2026-27 season.
