Abdelhak Belkacemi: Algerian left-back joins CR Temouchent on free transfer from US Biskra
Algerian defender Abdelhak Belkacemi has joined CR Temouchent on a free transfer from US Biskra, adding experience at left-back to the Ligue 1 side’s back line.
The 33-year-old, who is left-footed and stands at 1.70m, makes the move after a spell with Biskra in the Algerian top flight. His switch to Temouchent is a permanent deal following the expiry of his contract with his previous club.
Belkacemi arrives with solid Ligue 1 pedigree, having made 84 appearances in the division, scoring once and providing seven assists. Across those matches he has accumulated more than 6,400 minutes of top-flight action, underlining his status as an established performer at this level.
The Oran-born full-back has spent recent seasons moving between familiar surroundings in the Algerian league. He first joined US Biskra in 2022 from Chelghoum Laid on a free transfer, before a year later switching to NC Magra, again without a fee. In 2025 he returned to Biskra, where he remained until his latest move to Temouchent.
Earlier in his career, Belkacemi built his reputation through a series of domestic clubs, including O Medea, ES Mostaganem, OM Arzew and SCM Oran, establishing himself as a reliable option on the left side of defence.
Belkacemi’s arrival at CR Temouchent is effective immediately following the completion of his free transfer from US Biskra on 16 July 2026.
