Abdel-Amine Tran: French-Algerian midfielder at Paris 13 Atletico B linked with SLNA FC move in Vietnam’s V.League 1

French-Algerian midfielder Abdel-Amine Tran of Paris 13 Atletico B is being linked with a move to Vietnamese top-flight side SLNA FC in V.League 1. The 20-year-old central midfielder, who plays predominantly on the left foot, is understood to be on the radar of the Vietnamese club as they assess options to strengthen their midfield department.

Tran joined Paris 13 Atletico’s B team on a free transfer on 1 July 2024 after a season with Montfermeil at under-19 level, and any move to SLNA FC would represent his first step into senior football outside France. Born in Nogent-sur-Marne on 21 November 2005, he is eligible to represent both France and Algeria, adding further interest to his development pathway.

At youth level, Tran has accumulated regular game time in France’s National U19 structure, registering 19 appearances and two goals in Group A competition. He also caught the eye in the Coupe Gambardella, scoring once in a brief cameo appearance in the national youth cup.

Having come through the ranks at Troyes, progressing from their youth set-up to the under-17 and under-19 sides before moving on to Montfermeil and then Paris 13 Atletico B, Tran has already experienced several different development environments within the French system. He only arrived at his current club at the start of the 2024-25 season, and his contractual situation has not been made public, leaving open how any potential agreement with SLNA FC might be structured.
