Abdallah Said and Mahmoud Hamdy El-Wensh embrace Zamalek future with joy and loyalty
Zamalek stars Abdallah Mahmoud Said and Mahmoud Hamdy “El-Wensh” Attia have renewed their contracts, choosing to finish their football journeys at the club they now call home.
For Said, extending his stay with the White Castle was more than a decision, it was personal. The experienced midfielder believes continuing with Zamalek for two more seasons will elevate his legacy.
“Being at Zamalek is an added value to me and to any player, and ending my career with the team is something special for me,” Said told the club’s media center.
“Renewing my contract with John Edward, the sporting director, was a simple matter. The vision that Zamalek Club is following is promising, and I hope that the team will be one hand, and that we will work together for the benefit of the club so that the team is on the right path.”
Zamalek’s defensive pillar El-Wensh also shared his pride in continuing with the club.
“I didn’t spend time thinking about renewing my contract. It’s a great honor for me to be a member of Zamalek until I retire.”
