Aaron Keto-Diyawa leaves FC Haka as England and DR Congo full-back becomes unattached

England and DR Congo left-back Aaron Keto-Diyawa has left FC Haka and joined the ranks of unattached players.

The 22-year-old defender’s departure from the Finnish club was completed on 1 August 2026, bringing an end to his spell with Haka after less than five months. Keto-Diyawa joined the club on 31 March 2026 and featured in Finland’s Ykkosliiga during the period that followed.

Keto-Diyawa made 13 appearances in the Ykkosliiga, playing 739 minutes, and also appeared four times in the Suomen Cup. He was used as a left-back and is naturally left-footed.

Born in England, Keto-Diyawa also holds DR Congo nationality. He is 1.72m tall and has spent the majority of his career in the English development system, having previously been with Wolves Under-21s and Wolves Under-18s.

His time with Wolves Under-21s followed an earlier spell at Fulham’s youth academy. Keto-Diyawa moved from Fulham Youth to Wolves Under-18s in July 2020 before progressing to the club’s Under-21 side two years later.

He left Wolves Under-21s in July 2025 and was without a club until joining FC Haka the following March. His latest move now leaves him unattached once again.

Keto-Diyawa’s recorded career includes 42 Premier League 2 appearances and 46 matches in the Under-18 Premier League. He also made appearances in the EFL Trophy, the Premier League International Cup Under-21 competition and the FA Youth Cup during his time in England.

His youth and development record includes one FA Youth Cup goal and five assists in the Under-18 Premier League, while he recorded two assists in Premier League 2. He also played in the National League North and the Premier League 2 play-offs.

Keto-Diyawa has now ended his FC Haka spell and is without a club from 1 August 2026.
