Nasser Meqqidash, assistant coach at CR Belouizdad, affirmed the merit of his team’s qualification for the semifinals at the expense of Tergui Mostaganem.
Speaking in a post-match press conference, Nasser Meqqidash stated, “These are Algerian Cup matches, and every team has the right to qualify. We won the match through penalty shootouts, and we were the better team against Mostaganem, although they are a very ambitious team.”
Meqqidash added, “I thank the fans who traveled to Constantine to support the players. The fans attended despite the difficult period we went through. They played a significant role in our qualification for the semifinals.”
One of the architects of the qualification to the next round concluded, “All the teams we will face will be strong, and each team must prepare seriously.
The flavor of the cup is good, and I sincerely hope that we can win this edition.”
