Hervé Renard is emerging as a potential candidate to replace Rémi Garde as the head coach of Lyon. With Garde’s contract coming to an end and uncertainty surrounding his future at OL, the club’s management is reportedly considering alternatives.
According to Le Parisien, Hervé Renard, the current coach of Sochaux and former Zambia coach, is the frontrunner for the Lyon job. While Renard has been contacted by Lyon officials, he remains focused on his current responsibilities with Sochaux and has refrained from commenting on the speculation.
Garde, on the other hand, is taking his time to evaluate his options before making a decision about his future at Lyon: “I need to discuss with the club about our direction. I want to make a well-considered decision. At the end of the season, you’ll know my decision,” Garde stated.
