Didier Drogba’s future is uncertain after his contract with Galatasaray was not extended. Despite rumors linking him to a return to Marseille, the 36-year-old striker seems dismissive of the idea.
“They don’t need me,” Drogba stated in Surface magazine, expressing his frustration with the ongoing rumors: “It’s tiring.”
While a return to Marseille has long been anticipated by fans, it now appears to be a distant possibility.
This season, Drogba has scored fourteen goals in 36 appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray, showing he still has plenty to offer on the pitch.
