It was a development that had been anticipated for several days, and now it’s official: Laurent Koscielny has extended his contract with Arsenal. The London club confirmed the news on its official website, stating that Koscielny has signed a “long-term” contract.
Expressing his pride, the French international stated, “I am very proud to have signed a new contract with the club. I spent four great years here and I hope to continue and help the club for a long time to come.”
Since joining Arsenal in the summer of 2010, Koscielny has amassed 163 appearances for the club.
