The Cameroonian national team has departed for Bujumbura to face Burundi in the second round of qualifiers for the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
Coach Aboubakar Souleymane has selected a squad of 18 players, including several high-performing professionals in this age category.
Having personally scouted Burundi’s recent victory against Djibouti, Coach Souleymane is wary of the threat posed by their opponents: “The young teams of these countries play a good game and are capable of surprising us if we do not take measures. This is why we are going there, with the aim of not neglecting any detail on the ground.”
The match is scheduled to kick off next Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
