PSG clinched their second consecutive French championship title tonight at the Parc des Princes, despite a 2-1 defeat against Rennes.
Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, the president of PSG, expressed his joy, stating, “I am very happy this evening. I was already happy before the match because we were already champions. I am very proud of my team because it has not been an easy season. I am happy with the results, but also with the quality of the game. This year, we are playing better football.”
He acknowledged the preference for a victory in the match but understood the challenges of motivation, given that they had already secured the title. Al-Khelaïfi reiterated his support for coach Laurent Blanc, emphasizing the continuity of their project despite any external pressures. He concluded, “I listen to the media but nothing is going to stop our dream, our project. We continue. No one is going to stop us.”
