The Egyptian club Al Ahly has appointed a new coach following the dismissal of Mohamed Youssef, who had been facing difficulties since the team’s elimination in the round of 16 of the Champions League at the end of March. Youssef, who played a pivotal role in Al Ahly’s Champions League triumph last year, has been replaced by Fathi Mabrouk. Mabrouk, who previously oversaw the youth team, will now take charge of the senior team.
