Firstly, following the lifting of its transfer ban for the upcoming window, FC Barcelona has also emerged victorious in the “Neymar affair.” The club released a statement on its official website expressing satisfaction with the decision of the Economic Control Committee of the National Professional Football League, which found no evidence of irregular conduct in Neymar Jr.’s transfer. The committee convened on Wednesday, April 23, and finalized its resolution on Friday.
As a reminder, FC Barcelona had faced allegations of misconduct related to the transfer of Neymar Jr., with suspicions arising shortly after the resignation of former president Sandro Rosell in February.
